The first time I heard Os Mutantes made me think many things we’re possible, but seeing them live was NOT one of them.
Their S/T LP was one of those records that opened up a whole new world to me in terms of what great music could be and where it could come from.
I’m totally positive that this show won’t live up to everything I want it to, but I kinda HAVE to go. DON’T MISS IT!
Monday Oct 5th
Os Mutantes
@World Live Cafe
3025 Walnut St, Philadelphia, PA
$27 (with service fee)
Doors @ 6pm
Show @ 7:30pm
I’ve been hearing about this movie for a few years now and I’m super excited that I’m actually going to be able to see it soon.
Transatlantic Feedback is a documentary that came out in 2006 about the Monks one of the most fascinating and amazing bands to exist in the history of rock music.
The documentary has interviews with all of the members and will hopefully be pretty amazing!
I’ll have a full review as soon as I get a chance to watch the DVD, but if you’re as impatient as I am, you’ll go to Amazon right now and buy a copy!
