Here’s the deal: I’m absolutely in love with the first Beefheart LP ‘Safe As Milk’. It’s weird and totally perfect. It’s almost as if bands like Pere Ubu followed Beefheart’s formula but never quite made the music quite as polarizing.
The other day while wandering aimlessly on the internet I came across this video of the Magic Band doing “Sure ‘Nuff ‘N Yes I Do” live in France. I have no clue where this footage came from, but I’m sure it’s a safe bet to say it’s one of the best live video’s from the 60’s.
Eat it up!

Here’s Miss Alex White and the Red Orchestra performing “I Dig History” Live at the February 2008 Sailor Jerry Vegas extravaganza! Alex and the gang absolutely blew people away and the video below gives you an indication why: This band is fantastic in every way.
Enjoy!
