Whilst Sir Paul Weller gallivants across the US in his leather suit (see the promo pics) playing Jam classics sprinkled throughout a set of songs that no one (with any taste) gives a damn about, Bruce Foxton and Rick Buckler (the original rhythm section) have teamed up with a guy that gives the songs their original, passionate spirit and are touring the land playing the cuts that we want to hear. And doing a better job of it too.
They legally can’t call themselves the Jam, so it’s billed as “From The Jam”. They might as well call it “I can’t wait” because that’s exactly how I feel.
