Love City is slated to release it’s first EP this weekend with two killer shows:
Saturday March 7th @ The Khyber W/ Reigning Sound
and
Sunday March 8th @ The Barbary W/ Masshysteri
The first show is 21+ while the second is ALL AGES and starts at 5:30pm
The 4 song EP was recorded with Paul and Ryan Cobb at Paul’s dad’s house (aka Cobb Studio) on a tape machine older that’s seen 40+ years of recording.
Both shows should be mandatory for rock n’ roll lovers regardless of the release aspect, but it makes their stars shine just a little brighter.
I was in the other room when I heard the familiar percussion and fuzz guitar line of Os Mutantes’ “A Minha Menina” coming from the TV. When I rushed into the living room I must say that I was completely taken aback that what I heard was actually the soundtrack to a McDonald’s commercial.
I really don’t what else to say. I’m speechless.
