Certified PR Records have been on a roll as of late and this, their first full-length release, is possibly the crown jewel.

You may know John Wesley Coleman from Austin’s Golden Boys but the music contained within these grooves comes across more like straight-up, grass-roots Americana. There’s a sort of loose, visceral honesty throughout that just makes the whole record work.

Stylistically ‘Steal My Mind’ is across the board, the type of record that where you sit, sink back into your chair and let the songs surround you. In fact, I didn’t really dig this LP until I sat down and absorbed it start to finish. Now it’s my go to and has been hogging most of the time on the turntable.
